| MOAA Encourages Phone Card Donations to Help Troop Morale |

 "We encourage our members to donate phone cards to the troops to help morale by keeping them in touch with their families," MOAA President Vice Adm. Norb Ryan Jr., USN-Ret., said after hearing from the Iraq Multi-National Force senior NCO.

Your assistance is sorely needed! Each month that has a fifth Friday (there are 4 this year), the Albuquerque Chapter is responsible for hosting the New Mexico Veterans Memorial at Louisiana and Gibson SE. This activity only requires a shift of three (3) hours of volunteer time, either 9-12 or 12-3 and 2 members per shift. The responsibility requires that you meet and greet visitors to the Memorial and answer any questions about the Memorial and its contents.
Our last Coordinator had to withdraw because of ill health. Not only do we need a new
Coordinator, we also need some volunteers to work the shifts.
