Ski Meeting/Party at the NM Veterans Memorial had a great turn-out with over 80 participants, who brought their favorite hors d'oeuvres. The program was Sharon Luten, Pilates Instructor New Mexico Sports & Fitness, Del Norte & Highpoint Clubs, who instructed Cheryl Simpson and Bruce Seligman on how to use the rubber bands & foam rollers to do Pilates exercises. A good time was had by all!

For our Chapter's Summer Quarterly Meeting, we had a Potluck Lunch, followed by a great Tour of the Veterans Memorial by Roger Knight. About 28 participants enjoyed the delicious food and the informative tour, in spite of the hot weather.

This was a great trip planned by Sun Tours. We overnighted in Dublin, Kilkenny, Cork, Killarney, Limerick, Clifden, Bundoran, Belfast on the beautiful Emerald Island. We visit Trinity College, Ballyknocken House, Kilkenny Castle, Waterford, Garinish Island, “Ring of Kerry”, Cliffs of Moher, Galway, Connemara, Kylemore Abbey, Donegal, Derry, Giant’s Causeway, Belfast and more. The weather was mostly sunny with very little rain. On our return home, we had a great tour of Chicago during our long airport layover there.

Georgean & Steve Weller again hosted our Tours Party at their beautiful home/yard. We had a great participation with about 75-80 participants. Karl Storch from Sun Tours talked about our upcoming European Viking Cruise from Amsterdam to Budapest in October 2011.
